This is an original concept by Jules A. Bouillet rarely if
ever seen in the world of wildlife art. This piece is
absolutely stunning and has the added richness of depth and
color due to the 3-D nature of the diorama. Mr. Bouillet
first sketches the concept on paper, then paints an original
oil painting. He then constructs a solid maple box and
stains the box. Next, he carves and paints the figurines and
habitat to blend into the picture. The figurines are mounted
on wire protruding from the painting and then the painting
is set into the back of the box. The habitat is then set in
the foreground. A museum quality frame and liner is chosen
to compliment the subject matter and along with a glass
facing is mounted to the box to create the diorama that
appears to put you in the scene as it is happening.
This is a one-of-a-kind original creation that is of museum
quality and would make a fantastic addition to any art
collection or as a centerpiece to a family room or den. This
would also make an excellent executive gift for a corporate
office. The piece measures 33" long x 28" high x 5" deep.
